It's that time of year folks, game awards are being handed out. Guild Wars is the big MMORPG award-winner this year.
IGN has awarded GW the Best RPG and Best RPG awards for 2005. Gamespy (which is part of the IGN family) gave the game Best MMORPG honor and called it one of the Top 10 PC Games of the Year
Now there's always been argument about whether GW can technically be classified as an MMORPG, but you can't deny that whatever the classification, it's a great game. ArenaSoft's model of free online play has paid off for them. Of course the great streaming technology the game uses and the amazing graphics and music quality help too.
